Why haven’t I heard of this uber-faggy YA novel before now? I work in kids’ publishing, generally a pretty heteronormative place.
It’s called “The Straight Road to Kylie” — and not only is a Kylie Minogue concert the climax of the action, it actually begins with the tracklisting to a 21-song, all-Kylie mixtape to set the mood. Kids these days!
