I’m mangling Mark’s argument for my own purposes; he was talking more specifically of “Video Games” and the people he knew. I just wanted to short-form it. Apologies for willfully misreading his post.
But that being said, in my little gay part of Toronto disliking LDR does seem sort of hopeless and idiosyncratic. I don’t really like LDR; but then again, I never really liked pre-“Toxic” Britney, and then didn’t stop her from inflaming the diva fantasies of a million gay boys. So sure, “everyone” may not like LDR, but from my perspective, on the ground, the dislikes are pretty swamped by likes.
